Maji ("Maji," "we," "us," or "our") operates the maji.world website and sends Maji newsletters and other communications. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information when you visit our website, contact us, request a service, use our calculators, subscribe to updates, or receive and interact with a Maji email.

Maji is the controller of the personal information described in this Policy. Our service providers process certain information on our behalf as described below.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

6. Maji Newsletters and Email Tracking

Maji newsletters are sent using Brevo. We use audience lists and tags to ensure that a newsletter is sent only to the intended group of eligible contacts.

A newsletter may contain a small tracking pixel that helps estimate whether the message was opened. Links may pass through Maji's branded Brevo tracking domain, such as r.mail.news.maji.world, before redirecting to the destination. This allows us to measure which links were clicked.

Open information is an estimate. Email privacy features, automatic image loading, security scanners, and other technical systems can create an open event even when a person did not actively read the message.

Where required by applicable law, we request separate permission before associating email opens or clicks with an individual contact. We do not use newsletter engagement information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Every marketing newsletter includes an unsubscribe option. When you unsubscribe, we stop sending marketing newsletters to that address. We may retain the email address and a minimal suppression record so that we can honor the unsubscribe request and avoid adding the address back without fresh permission.

7. Cookies and Website Analytics

Our website uses essential browser storage for security, functionality, session management, and remembering your cookie preference.

We also use Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-RNM7GSTE3J, to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics is loaded only after you accept analytics cookies through our cookie-consent banner.

If you decline analytics cookies, Google Analytics will not load. We may still collect limited first-party operational information through Base44, such as the page viewed, session identifier, device category, referral source, and general region. This information supports website security, reliability, and first-party performance analysis.

8. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We do not provide subscriber information to third parties for their own independent marketing. We may share information with:

Base44: Our website and private newsletter administration application are built and hosted using Base44. Base44 processes application data and technical information on our behalf. See the Base44 Privacy Policy.
Brevo: Brevo processes subscriber information, audience membership, campaign delivery, suppression, and email engagement information to send and manage our newsletters. See the Brevo Privacy Policy.

Professional advisers: Lawyers, auditors, insurers, and other professional advisers where reasonably necessary
Legal and safety purposes: Authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or property
Business transactions: A prospective buyer, investor, successor, or relevant adviser in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards

9. International Data Transfers

Maji is based in Israel and uses service providers that may process information in Israel, the European Union, the United States, and other locations described in their privacy documentation. Where required, we use appropriate contractual, organizational, and legal safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing requested services, maintaining newsletter permission and suppression records, resolving disputes, protecting security, and complying with legal obligations.

If you unsubscribe, we may retain a minimal suppression record to ensure that the unsubscribe request continues to be respected. We may retain aggregated or anonymized statistics that no longer identify an individual.

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These include access controls, restricted administrative access, service-side secret storage, suppression controls, and audit records. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our website and newsletters are intended for professionals and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
